Interweave Consulting Pvt Ltd, a leading Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) consulting organisation presents The Interweave “Thought Leadership Series” aimed at showcasing practical insights on varying aspects of DEI, through interactive panels of experts, policy makers and corporate leaders.
Announcing the very first thought leadership series on “Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities at the work-place”, in collaboration with Social Equity Advisory Services, delivered over 3 virtual events (on 15th, 22nd & 29th September’22), Timing: between 2-4pm.

Event 1: The series will begin with a deep discussion on the mandate for private sector organizations, as per Rights for Persons with Disabilities 2016 (RPWD 2016) and its implications. The session would highlight the statute, implementation guidelines, process gaps and impact of non-compliance. This event will help organisations at varying levels of RPWD 16 implementations, and clarify queries and doubts.
Event 2: Twill serve as a practical guide to learning from multiple organisational journeys, with a deep dive into different stages of the talent cycle : Preparation-> Hiring-> Onboarding-> Training-> Performance-> Career advancement-> Growth planning.
The session will focus on the importance of people readiness, accessibility, accommodation, and employee resource groups in building an inclusive workplace. The session will also highlight the role technology plays in the inclusion of people with disabilities. This session brings organisations at various stages of the Disability Inclusion journey together to share their experiences, insights, and best practices.
Event 3: Tshowcases leading organisations, that have embraced the disability inclusion agenda and the tangible and intangible benefits achieved by them. This event brings together 2-3 such organizations, who have been on the disability inclusion journey already for some time now, to share their success stories. The speakers would share the reasons they embarked on the disability inclusion journey, the preparations and steps, the challenges faced on the way, how they mitigated them, and the factors that worked for them. The session is aimed at motivating the organisations that are still considering embarking on the journey and providing important insights to the organizations, who are already on the path.
